I designed a fresh, youthful logo for a local synth-wave band that bridges the gap between retro nostalgia and modern playfulness.

My objective was to design a modern logo for a Synthwave band that captured a distinct retro-futuristic vibe. Drawing inspiration from midnight cityscapes, I blended a neon-inspired color palette with contemporary design principles. The challenge was to create an identity that felt nostalgic yet fresh. I focused on building a minimalist, high-impact mark that ensured maximum versatility—making it easily adaptable for everything from digital platforms to high-quality stickers and merchandise.
Resolution
The final identity resonated deeply with both the band members and their dedicated fanbase. By leaning into a "hipster aesthetic," the logo seamlessly integrated into the visual culture of the clubs and underground venues where the band performs.
